I travel the country speaking to groups for two reasons:
1) I desire to please Christ and glorify God.
2) I'm happiest when helping others create the growth and change they desire.
Well, that and I honestly love a girls' night out - it matters not how far I have to travel to get there.
Below is a teaching clip taken from a keynote message to nearly 900 women on the subject of
"Living with our Longing to be Great."

For the last few years I've been speaking on two featured topics from my book
The most requested retreat topic from this book has been "Get By With a Little Help From Your Friends" on women's friendships. Women need and long for healthy friendships. But friendships can be hard to navigate, so we sometimes wind up crashing them or avoiding them. With Bible in hand, and experience as a biblically trained life coach, I will help your group learn to form healthy relationships with other women.
- Discover the one thing nobody wants you to know about them.
- Learn how and when to ask for help.
- Discover where you can turn when a friend betrays.
The next-most requested retreat topic has been "Adjust Your Scale" which deals with women's perfectionistic tendencies. Perfectionistic much? Me too - I get it. Some of us are only perfectionists in certain areas of our lives, others of us don't even realize we harbor this tendency. But we all struggle with it to a degree. With Bible in hand, and experience as a biblically trained life coach, I will help your group readjust their standards to align with God's.
- Learn the different ways perfectionism plagues us - some may surprise you.
- Discover the secret to perfection in God's eyes.
- Experience the great relief that is God's grace.

My newest speaking material springs from my next book releasing this Christmas,
I co-wrote this with my pastor, Mike Ashcraft. At its core, it's a book on enacting personal change in your life for spiritual growth. Do you have a long list of things you'd like to change about yourself? Multiple ways you know you need to become more like Christ? Do you find each day keeps blurring into the next with no real growth or change occurring? I can help you and your group finally do something about one thing this year.
- Learn the difference between self-improvement and gospel change.
- Discover the key to change and put it into practice.
- Learn how to use the tool of journaling to expand your experience of God.
- Walk away with a clear focus for the year ahead and a renewed hope in your ability to grow.
Note: This topic actually makes for an excellent Christmas keynote message. If you'd like to discuss it, don't hesitate to contact me.

Years ago I came across a verse in the Old Testament and the words seemed to leap from the page. It felt like God whispered, "Remember this." I had no idea why until years later when I sat down across from Lysa TerKeurst of Proverbs 31 Ministries. That verse was Jeremiah 15:19:
"Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman.'"
It's now my pleasure to serve God and my sisters in Christ speaking at conferences, events and retreats. So if you'd like to explore how I can be of service to your group, don't hesitate to contact me at rachel@proverbs31.org.
Or, check my availability and request a demo by following this link to P31.
I hope we get to meet and share a night or two out while we look together into God's Word.
