I've lost my mojo

Hi. It's me. Remember me? Think back ... a long time ago we used to chat here. That is until I began spending every waking moment writing my book or preparing for She Speaks. Sigh. I miss you.

I should be writing right now because I only have an hour before the kids are home again. But I can't seem to get over the hump and make letters appear on the Word document page. So here I am. Procrastinating.

Oh yeah, I need to write a devotion today too.

What I'd rather be doing is going to the beach. Or redecorating my bedroom. Or meeting a friend for lunch. Wait, scratch that. I only want to be doing those things because I am stuck. What I really want to do is get the flow going, but I seem to be missing my writing mojo today.

Have you seen it? Could you email it to me if you find it please? Or at least pray for me?

While you're at it, feel free to leave me the url of a website you love to frequent just incase I have to kill more time online while waiting for my mojo to arrive.

Blessings, yall ~Rachel

  5. Oh how I hate when your mojo just wanders off. You look for it under the couch, in the laundry room and all the other places you search when very important things go missing. To no avail. You know where it finds me, at the keyboard after a prayer and heavenly push to get my fingers going again.

    Here's hoping it came back!

  6. Well...I've never had the mojo to loose.

    Let me just give you a pat on the back and tell you good job.

    As I read blogs from you P31 women, it amazes me that you all can take any everyday situation, like a rollercoaster ride or trips to the grocery store and find something spiritual to write about.

    My mind does not go there but I love reading where your minds go.

    Hopefully you got a nice cup of your favorite herbal tea and found your mojo.

  7. Great blog title Rachel...think that should be a future devo of some sort. :)
    I will be praying for you.

    I wish I was joining you all at SS this summer, but know that over that weekend you will all be lifted up to God from Nebraska.

  9. Rachel,

    MoJo,

    Well I tried to find it;
    On EBay no one was selling it;
    Looked at Target this morning, couldn’t buy it;
    Went to the pharmacy couldn’t get it, even if I had a prescription;
    So I thought it has to be at the grocery store.
    I searched every isle only to find the cookies and cakes;
    So I thought it must be something you drank;
    It wasn’t a caffeinated beverage or herbal tea.
    So what was this MoJo that eluded Rachel and me?
    It was something inside us that only we can reach.
    A life experience, lesson or victory to reach.
    Relax dear friend and soon it will return
    It never left you; it might just be time to learn.

    Sorry it doesn’t all rhyme but my mojo isn’t all there right now.
    Praying for you,
    Hugs,
    Diane
